Zach LaVine Adds Local Partnership Amid Free Agency Rumors

Zach LaVine may have ridden the proverbial fence when he spoke about his impending unrestricted free agency 12 days ago. But, an earlier move of his may have already telegraphed his true intentions. 

The newly minted two-time All-Star partnered with Midwest Express Clinic as a part of its “Heart of a Hero” endeavor two days prior to his first-ever playoff appearance last month.

LaVine choosing to become the brand ambassador for a company that serves the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland communities would seem to be at odds with someone looking for a change in scenery.

Since the season ended with a four-games-to-one first round series loss to Milwaukee, speculation about both LaVine’s future and viability as a max player have swirled. 

But, if the Bulls having the extra year and additional $54.9 million to offer LaVine that no other team can doesn’t put fans at ease, maybe this will.
