The Chicago White Sox announced several roster moves ahead of their doubleheader with the Kansas City Royals. The club shuffled multiple pitchers and announced their starter for the second game tonight.

Game 2 Starter Davis Martin

The White Sox selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Davis Martin from Triple-A Charlotte. Martin will make his MLB debut tonight as the starting pitcher for Game 2 against the Royals.

He’s allowed only seven hits over 12 innings and sports a 1.50 ERA. Martin also recorded eight strikeouts and allowed two home runs in Triple-A Charlotte.

Roster Moves

Beyond selecting Martin’s contract, the Chicago White Sox also moved around three other pitchers. The team recalled right-handed pitcher Kyle Crick from Charlotte as its 27th player for the doubleheader.

Furthermore, Michael Kopech heads to the Paternity List and Garrett Crochet moves to the 60-day injured list.
