After 25 years, the Chicago Bulls will be playing in Paris for the first time in a long time. The NBA announced a regular-season matchup between the Bulls and division rival Detroit Pistons that will take place on January 19, 2023.

The last time the Chicago Bulls played in Europe, they took on Olympiacos. That team was led by now Executive VP of Basketball Operations Arturas Karnsiovas. He scored 19 points in a loss to the 1997 NBA Champion Chicago Bulls.

This is the Bulls’ third time ever playing overseas. Now that the Bulls are back to playing competitive basketball, it’s a no-brainer that the NBA would choose them to represent the league in Paris. Michael Jordan made the Bulls an absolute juggernaut, so there are fans worldwide that bleed red and black.
