The Chicago White Sox will be back on national television in a couple of weeks. ESPN announced Wednesday that the South Siders’ June 19 game against the Houston Astros will be the network’s Sunday Night Baseball broadcast.

Originally scheduled for a 1:10 PM CT first pitch, the American League foes will now face off at 6:08 PM CT.

The last time the White Sox and Astros met was in the 2021 postseason. Houston topped Chicago 3-1 in the best-of-five ALDS series with each Astros win coming in convincing fashion. As the South Siders look to find their stride entering the summer months, they will surely have this matchup circled on the calendar.

The Chicago White Sox last appeared on Sunday Night Baseball on May 22 against the New York Yankees. In the aftermath of a heated exchange involving Tim Anderson and Josh Donaldson the day prior, the Sox recorded an emotionally charged 5-0 win to sweep a Sunday doubleheader.
