The Chicago Sky head back on the road Sunday afternoon to take on the Indiana Fever.
After starting off the season 2-8 and naming Carlos Knox as its interim head coach on May 25, the Fever are 2-6.
Currently holding a 4-13 overall record, Indiana is in a middle of a rebuild, as half of the roster is rookies. Five-year veteran Kelsey Mitchell leads the team in scoring with 19.2 PPG.
As for the Sky, they are coming off an overtime victory over the Atlanta Dream on Friday night. The reigning champions are 4-1 in their last five games, showing why they are still the team to beat this season.
Even without Candace Parker in Friday night’s game, as a whole, Chicago’s continuous overall growth shows in every game.
There is no word yet if Parker will play Sunday afternoon or not. Updates to come via Twitter.
As of June 18, the Sky have the third highest odds to win the WNBA Finals. The Las Vegas Aces currently have the highest odds.
