
Chicago Sky forward/center Candace Parker has been selected to be a starter in the 2022 WNBA All-Star Game.
This is the seventh time the two-time champion has made the WNBA All-Star Game, but the first time she will be playing on her home court.
The 2022 WNBA All-Star Game will take place at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL on July 10. The MTN Dew 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge will open the festivities on July 9.
The 2013 All-Star MVP will join be joined by a pair of fellow WNBA legends, Sue Bird and Sylvia Fowles. The two will make their final All-Star appearances as they both will retire at the end of the season. Parker has also hinted at hanging up her basketball shoes following the 2022 campaign.
However, Candace Parker has shown she still has a lot left in the tank this season. In 14 games for the Chicago Sky, she is averaging 12.7 PPG, 8.1 RPG and 4.5 APG.
