After making history on Tuesday night coming back from a 28-point deficit, the Chicago Sky head to the City of Angels to take on the Los Angeles Sparks.
Thursday night’s matchup will be the Sky’s second time seeing the Sparks this season. Their first meeting was back on May 6. The Sparks won that contest 98-91 in overtime, handing the Sky their first loss of the season on opening night.
The Sparks are 2-3 in their last five games and hold fourth place in the Western Conference. Nneka Ogwumike leads the way for Los Angeles with averages of 18.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
Thursday will be Candace Parker’s second time facing off against her former team. Parker leads WNBA centers in rebounds (8.1) and assists (4.5) per game.
Look for the Sky to carry their energy from Tuesday night into Los Angeles.
