The Chicago Fire look to win back-to-back matches for the first time since March when they visit the Houston Dynamo on Saturday at PNC Stadium in Houston.

The Fire (3-7-5) ended their winless streak at 10 matches (0-7-3) with a 1-0 victory against DC United last week at Soldier Field. Second-half substitute Fabian Herbers scored his first goal of the season for Chicago’s lone goal of the match.

The Fire haven’t won a road match since a 2-0 victory against DC United on March 12 at Audi Field.

Chicago will try to end that streak without defender Wyatt Omsberg, who is out three months after foot surgery, and winger Jairo Torres (right hip). Fire head coach Ezra Hendrickson will likely turn to Jonathan Bornstein and Carlos Terán to replace Omsberg. Midfielder Xherdian Shaqiri will return to action after missing the last match with a hamstring injury he sustained on international duty with Switzerland in the Nations League tournament.

The Dynamo (5-7-3) have lost three straight against Orlando City, Real Salt Lake, and Sporting Kansas City. Houston head coach Paulo Nagamura’s squad is led by Paraguayan striker Sebastián Ferreira, who has six goals and three assists in 13 games. Columbian forward Darwin Quintero has five goals and one assist in only 10 matches. Steve Clark has started all but one match for Houston in net.
