On Saturday morning, the Chicago Bears shared some positive news. The team announced the signing of their second-round pick, CB Kyler Gordon.
Gordon was the headliner of the Bears’ 2022 draft class. Ryan Poles selected Kyler Gordon 39th overall with the team’s first pick of the draft. The pick also happened to be the Poles’ first ever pick as GM.
However, the parameters of his rookie deal are still unknown. Now, the Bears have inked ten of their eleven draft picks to rookie deals. This means the lone player that has yet to sign his rookie deal is safety Jaquan Brisker.
The Bears and Brisker still have roughly a month before training camp begins. So, there is still time for the two sides to come to an agreement. Hopefully, it comes sooner rather than later.
