With the exception of re-signing Zach LaVine, the Chicago Bulls haven’t had much in the way of a noteworthy offseason.
But according to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report, they do have one of Summer League’s three-best undrafted free agents in Justin Lewis.
Even as a rangy wing who projects to fit nicely with the team’s shot creators, Lewis has a ways to go to crack Billy Donovan’s rotation. Plus, given the nature of his contract, the Marquette product whom the Bulls signed to a two-way deal shortly after last month’s draft will have to split time between the NBA and G League.
Still, as the Bulls get set to open Summer League play against the Mavs Friday, Lewis is someone fans should keep their eyes on.
