Before today’s series finale between the White Sox and the Minnesota Twins, Chicago made several roster moves. The highlight of the roster moves is the return of left fielder, Eloy Jimenez, who has been out since April 23rd after injuring his hamstring.

The White Sox placed Jake Burger on the 10-day injured list with a bone bruise in his right hand. Pitcher, Vince Velasquez, was placed on the 15-day injured list with a blister on his right index finger.

Chicago recalled Jimmy Lambert from Charlotte and Danny Mendick has now been officially placed on the 60-day injured list due to an ACL tear.

The Chicago White Sox have battled injuries all season long. Hopefully, the return of Jimenez can provide a spark to a team that desperately needs it.
