It was the Chicago Sky’s game from start to finish as they took down the Indiana Fever for the second time this season. Thursday’s matchup was the third and final meeting between the two teams.

Emma Meesseman led the way for Chicago with 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists. The forward took care of everything for the Sky offensively and defensively.

Although the Sky lost to the Fever a few weeks ago, going up against a team full of rookies should have never been a close matchup given all the veteran firepower Chicago possesses.

The Sky had a successful night shooting the ball, converting at a 54.8% clip. Seven players notched over six points, and all but one player scored in tonight’s matchup.

Heading into the All-Star break, the Chicago Sky hold the best record in the league with a 16-6 mark, putting them one game ahead of the Las Vegas Aces. James Wade’s squad has won eight of their last 10 games.

“We are just getting our chemistry down,” said Wade. “We are a more consistent team than we were.”

Chicago continues to grow and flourish as the games go by, a positive sign for the reigning WNBA champions. The Sky currently have the second-best odds to win the WNBA Finals (+300), trailing only the Aces (+160).

With Thursday’s win, the Sky have clinched home-court advantage in the Commissioner’s Cup against the Las Vegas Aces.
