2022 NHL Draft: Blackhawks Select Ryan Greene with No. 57 Overall Pick

The center scored 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) in 59 regular-season games in his second full USHL season for Green Bay.

The Chicago Blackhawks selected center Ryan Greene of the USHL Green Bay Gamblers with the No. 57 overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NHL Draft on Friday.

The Blackhawks acquired the pick to select Ryan Greene from the Minnesota Wild in the Marc-Andre Fleury trade. Greene (6-foot-2, 179 pounds) scored 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) in 59 regular-season games in his second full USHL season. The right-hander will be a freshman next season at Boston University under head coach Jay Pandolfo.

The Chicago Blackhawks entered the second day of the draft with nine selections, including six in rounds two and three. Chicago does not hold a pick in the fourth or fifth rounds, but does have two in the sixth round and one in the seventh.
