The Chicago Bears need offensive pieces to place around quarterback Justin Fields. After two of their recent wide receiver signings got in trouble with the law and have uncertain futures, the Bears traded with the New England Patriots for N’Keal Harry.
N’Keal Harry With The New England Patriots
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Chicago Bears are sending a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Patriots in exchange for N’Keal Harry. New England selected Harry 32nd overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.
In three years, Harry played in 33 games. He caught 57 of his 103 targets for 598 yards and four touchdowns. But he hasn’t reached the end zone since 2020. Part of that may have been adjusting to a new quarterback in Mac Jones. But it also might be that Harry only started in four games last season.
N’Keal Harry is 6-foot-4 and weighs 225 pounds. He played his college football at Arizona State, where he had an impressive 213 catches for over 2,800 yards and 22 touchdowns.
This is a solid addition for the Chicago Bears. N’Keal Harry gets a fresh start with this change and the opportunity to build a new relationship with Justin Fields to strive for greatness.
