Fighting through the tough first two games against the Guardians, the Chicago White Sox regained their composure and split the four-game series. The White Sox are coming off back-to-back wins against Cleveland heading into this four-game series with the Minnesota Twins before the All-Star break.

With a record of 43-45, the White Sox are still flirting with .500 but cannot seem to break that plateau. The Sox are five games behind the Twins in the AL Central division which makes this a pivotal four-game series. The 2022 Chicago White Sox could easily determine their future in this series and are desperate for a win.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Twins sport a 49-41 record and sit atop the AL Central. The Twins haven’t won a series since beating the White Sox earlier this month. They’re coming off a loss to Texas and a two-game split with Milwaukee. Needless to say, both teams want to win this series before the All-Star break and go into the second half of the season with their heads held high.
