Quickly showing the league that they are the top team, the Chicago Sky head down to the Lone Star State to take on the Dallas Wings.
Coming off an 80-68 win over the Sparks on Thursday, the Sky look to extend their three-game winning streak.
The Sky will be without guard Courtney Vandersloot after taking a tough fall on Thursday night. With Vandersloot out, rookie guard Rebekah Gardner will most likely take over for the point god.
Gardner stepped up on Thursday after recording the first double-double of her career with a career-high 18 points and 10 rebounds.
This will be the first regular season meeting between the two teams. The Wings are coming off a win against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday. The 11-13 Wings are led by fourth-year veteran Arike Ogunbowale.
Ogunbowale put up 32 points, six rebounds, and five assists in the 92-87 win over the Lynx. The former Notre Dame standout averages 19.7 PPG, 3.6 APG, and 1.3 SPG.
Being the top team in the league, these are games that you have to win. However, in the WNBA, every game will be highly competitive. The Wings are another one of those scrappy teams that can sneak out a win against the best. Expect another big game from Candace Parker, who has been on a tear all season.
