This weekend, I grabbed a variety pack from Warrenville’s own Two Brothers. As pictured above, it is their 25th Anniversary Mix Pack. In the past, the brewery has released anniversary beers in a regular four- or six-pack, so this was the first time I’ve seen a variety pack commemorating the occasion.

So here’s the lineup. You get a pale ale, an IPA, a session ale, and lastly the 25th anniversary double IPA.

First I had the IPA, Resistance. Right away, this was a pleasant surprise. I always love an IPA with a sweet finish, and this brew has just that.

The Bitter End stayed true to the pale ale style. Perfectly done.

Brown Fox was a nice surprise. It was labeled a session ale, but I wasn’t expecting it to be a brown ale. That made for a nice change-up to include in a variety pack.

Lastly was the 25th Anniversary Double IPA. I’ve always enjoyed Two Brothers anniversary beers, and this one was no different. Heavy hops up front followed by a sweet brown sugar finish.
This was a fantastic variety pack offered by Two Brothers. Each beer provided something a little different, especially with the brown ale thrown in. It was very reasonable at only $20 and I’m very happy I tried it out on a whim.
Happy Drinking!
