Over the weekend, Chicago Bulls’ All-Star DeMar DeRozan participated in the Drew League. For those unfamiliar with the Drew League, NBA players often participate during the offseason to make relationships and put work in. A player could be a prospect or a pro to partake.
DeMar DeRozan shined in this appearance in the Drew League, as he did a few weeks ago. He scored 30 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. It also was a bit competitive in the game as well. Things got chippy and DeRozan was involved in the shenanigans. But it was all in good fun and he seemed to enjoy himself.
Los Angeles Lakers’ star LeBron James also made his first appearance in the Drew League since 2011. The 20-year NBA veteran scored 42 points and grabbed 16 boards. James and DeRozan seemed to enjoy teaming up and doing what they do best, “hoop.”
