Alex Caruso is kind of a big deal.

The 28-year-old is a recent NBA champion, the superstar in his role for the Chicago Bulls and, as of July 30, the namesake for a basketball court in his hometown of College Station, Texas.

Caruso signed a four-year, $37 million deal with the Bulls last summer after the Lakers, with whom he won a title in 2020, nickel-and dimed him.

In his first season with the Bulls, Caruso averaged 7.4 points, four assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.7 steals. But his value extended well beyond counting stats. As has been the case throughout his career.

And sure enough, after leaving an indelible mark on the Chicago Bulls’ most successful campaign in years, Alex Caruso is set to do the same elsewhere. Literally.

Just a guy who loves sports almost as much as I love writing about them. Chicago through and through. “When they go low, we stay high.”
