We are almost two weeks removed from the WNBA All-Star break and the Chicago Sky just continue to roll. After an 89-83 victory over the Dallas Wings on Friday, the Sky hold a two-game lead over the Las Vegas Aces with a league-best 21-6 record.

Now riding a six-game winning streak, the Sky continue to show that they even better than they were in 2021, a campaign that resulted in a WNBA title. The numbers and eye test point to the same conclusion: Chicago is the best team in the WNBA.

As of this writing, BetRivers has the Sky and Aces tied with the best odds to win the 2022 WNBA Finals at +190. The Seattle Storm have the third-best odds (+400) followed by the Connecticut Sun (+600).

If you have not done so already, hammer that Chicago Sky future to repeat as champions. The value for this bet will only continue to drop as the schedule progresses.

Why To Bet On A Chicago Sky Repeat

Not only is it the safe bet; it is the right bet. Chicago easily has the deepest roster in the league thanks to a stacked bench that features Rebekah Gardner, Dana Evans, Azurá Stevens, and Julie Allemand. All of those players could easily start on other rosters across the league.

WNBA great Candace Parker leads the way for the Sky. The two-time MVP is having an unbelievable season, averaging 13.3 points per game while shooting 44.2% from the floor.

The offseason addition of Emma Meesseman to replace Stefanie Dolson has changed Chicago’s entire offense for the better. The former Finals MVP helps spread the floor better than Dolson ever did.

Once Courtney Vandersloot gets returns from concussion protocols, the Sky will only continue to improve. Vandersloot is averaging 10.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and a stellar 6.2 APG.

Kahleah Copper has been on another level in her last four games, averaging 17.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, and 1.8 APG. On the season, she is putting up 14.5 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 2.1 APG.

As a whole, the Chicago Sky score the second-most points per game (85.7), trailing only Las Vegas (90.7). James Wade’s squad also leads the league in field goal percentage (47.9%) and free throw percentage (83.4%). Defensively, the Sky rank top-three in rebounds and blocks per game.

If you have some money lying around and you enjoy a good future bet, sprinkle some pizza money on reigning champions while you can still get some value on them.
