When Chicago Bears analyst, Olin Kreutz, grabbed life by the throat, he didn’t expect it to cost him two jobs. During an incident in May, Kreutz was involved in an altercation with fellow CHGO employee, Adam Hoge. The media company stated they fired Kreutz over the altercation, however, the former Bears lineman has now spoken about the incident and refutes some of the details.
Olin Kreutz Comments
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Olin Kreutz will not return to NBC Sports Chicago for the Bears’ postgame show. NBCSCH told Kreutz there are several employees who aren’t open to him returning to the building.
Olin also commented that if some of the employees don’t want him back then he doesn’t want to return.
Furthermore, Kreutz commented on the situation and has one specific gripe.
“I told them obviously I was sorry about the way the situation escalated… I have my side of the story of what I thought happened. You could tell by what I put on Twitter what I thought happened.”

Kreutz goes on to say that he’s aware CHGO said they fired him but claims he knew his time there was already over.
“I had already decided that my time was up at CHGO just because of some things that I thought were unprofessional in the way they run their business.”

At this time, it’s unclear if Kreutz will return to 670 The Score as an analyst. He stated, in his interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, that he doesn’t need to do analyst work. He knows he made a mistake and has to live with the punishment.
