Chicago Bears’ preseason football is just around the corner. Head coach Matt Eberflus said Tuesday that his first-teamers, including Justin Fields, will play in the first exhibition contest.
Now, how long will they play? We shall see. But the expectation is they’ll go longer into the game than just a series or two since there are only three preseason games on the slate.
The Bears open up their preseason schedule at Soldier Field on Saturday, August 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs. That matchup will also mark the return of former Bears’ head coach Matt Nagy, who now serves as a senior assistant and quarterbacks coach for the Chiefs.
The game will kick off at 12 PM CT and air on FOX32 Chicago (locally). It will also be the lone home game of the 2022 preseason for the Chicago Bears.
