Bulls Take to Los Angeles to Explore Continuity

Apparently, “continuity” is just as much a rallying cry as it is Artūras Karnisovas’ new favorite word.

As K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reported Monday, several Chicago Bulls players are currently working out together in Los Angeles. But DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Patrick Williams, Alex Caruso, and Ayo Dosunmu aren’t the only ones taking part in the festivities.

In fact, more than half of the roster — including Nikola Vucevic and 18th-overall pick Dalen Terry — appears to be in California.

Yes, it’s only August.

Karnisovas and Marc Eversley went into the offseason seeking rim protection and outside shooting and came away with Andre Drummond and Goran Dragic.

And there aren’t any Giannis Antetokounmpos, or Kevin Durants, or Joel Embiids on the payroll.

But from Williams erasing Coby White’s layup attempt to Caruso tossing a half-court lob to Javonte Green to simply watching this team buy into itself, it’s hard not to catch fire with enthusiasm from watching that 30-second clip.

Just a guy who loves sports almost as much as I love writing about them. Chicago through and through. “When they go low, we stay high.”
