Aaron Rodgers Praises Bears Quarterback Justin Fields

Rodgers' weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show was surprisingly kind to the Bears.

Aaron Rodgers spent a chunk of his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show discussing the Bears. When discussing Sunday night's game, Rodgers praised several Bears players. When asked about the Bears quarterback Justin Fields, Rodgers had this to say:

"I think he's a real talented kid, with a good arm on him. He can really move around and extend plays. He's just got to work on the little things and continue to get better... He has a lot of star qualities."

That's high praise coming from one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Fields and Rodgers have two drastically different beginnings to their careers. Rodgers learned from Brett Favre before taking the reigns to an already potent offense. Justin Fields is in the middle of a rocky start to his NFL career and is led by a coach who might not make it past Week 17.

Then, Pat McAfee asked Rodgers about Robert Quinn doing the "Discount Double-Check belt celebration" right in front of him.

Rodgers' response was classy, though he still threw a little shade. He spoke briefly about the four total times someone performed his celebration in front of him, all of which resulted in losses for his opponents. Then he praised Robert Quinn for having a great season -- a Pro Bowl-caliber campaign -- and said he enjoys competing against him.

Despite absolutely dominating the Bears in his career, Aaron Rodgers praised several Bears players, and whichever way you look at it, added value to the greatest rivalry in all of sports.
