The Chicago Bears' young cornerback, Jaylon Johnson, was on The Jim Rome Show Wednesday and gave insight on their new defensive scheme. Rome asked him about the offseason, the craft of playing the position and working on the mental game.

Jaylon Johnson talked about keeping a certain peace of mind in order to give his all on the football field. It's very important to Jaylon to keep his head on an even level especially going into a season with a regime change.

Jim Rome asked Johnson what his early impressions of Matt Eberflus are and what the type of defense he wants to run will look like.

Rome also asked Jaylon Johnson what it's been like losing guys like Khalil Mack, Eddie Goldman, and Akiem Hicks. Johnson responded by saying it's definitely weird and a big culture change when some of those guys leave.

"To really see it and live it and see how a guy like Mack can be on one team and then another team the next day. It's interesting to see. But at the end of the day life is about adjustements. It's about making adjustments and picking up where we left off."
