When the Chicago Bears hired Ryan Poles as their new General Manager, one of the biggest talking points surrounding him was what he would do with Roquan Smith. As we all know, Poles traded Smith to Baltimore earlier this season.
Roquan Smith Signs HUGE Deal
Now, only two days after the NFL regular season ended, the Baltimore Ravens locked up Smith's services in a huge deal.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Ravens agreed, in principle, to sign Roquan Smith to a five-year, $100 million deal.

Furthermore, Smith's new deal includes $45 million guaranteed and he is now the highest-paid linebacker in NFL history.
In the nine games since being traded, Roquan Smith has one interception, two sacks, and 86 combined tackles. Smith was selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career, much to the chagrin of Chicago Bears fans who pleaded his superstar case, and has a chance to make a playoff run with the Ravens.
