It's been reported by Chicago Sun-Times reporter Jason Lieser that Chicago Bears defensive end Robert Quinn and running back/return specialist Cordarelle Patterson have both been fined by the NFL.

Patterson was fined over $12,000 for an altercation with the officials in the week four loss to the Colts. He was given a 15-yard penalty for the play as well.

Within the same game, Quinn was fined $15,000 for a horse-collar tackle on Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Both fines were issued this weekend, the fifth week of the NFL season.

Also in Bears news, the team has placed one member of the practice squad on the COVID-19 reserve list:

As of October 11, 2020, the Bears week six game against the Carolina Panthers is still scheduled as planned.
