After the spectacular performance by Justin Fields, the Chicago Bears are the number-one rushing team in the league with 1,759 yards. It's not even very close. The next closest team in the NFL behind the Bears in rushing yards is the Atlanta Falcons with 1,466.
Chicago Bears Run Game
The Bears average 195.4 rushing yards per game. With Justin Fields leading the way, and David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert in the backfield, the Bears are a difficult team to defend on the run.
The Baltimore Ravens are the closest team to Chicago in rushing yards per game with 165.6 but that could improve depending on how their Monday Night Football matchup with the Saints pans out.
The Bears rushed for over 230 yards in four games straight and for the fifth time this year. They haven't been out-rushed since the Vikings held them to only 78 rushing yards and put a beating on the defense with over 300 yards through the air as well.
Since then, the Chicago Bears rushed for 40 or more yards than their opponent three times. Only Dallas was able to come close.
The Bears may be rebuilding but this kind of offensive production recently has been fun to watch. Regardless of how many games the Bears end up winning this season, at least they're taking positive steps forward on offense.
