The Chicago Bears were busy tinkering with their roster on Tuesday. Due to the recent wave of COVID-19 issues, the Bears have done plenty of that as of late. Today's moves are as follows:

The situation remains fluid and the team could see more players come off or even land on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. However, it's nice to see Thomas Graham Jr. make the active roster on his merit. He surely deserved it after his performance on Monday Night Football.

As of now, the Bears are still relatively thin in the secondary with Jaylon Johnson still out due to COVID. Thus, the team is getting a major shot in the arm with Shelley coming back and the emergence of Graham Jr. It's one the Bears desperately need right now (pun fully intended).

Additionally, Artie Burns will return to the team. While he has struggled in limited playing time, the Bears just need able bodies to suit up at this point.

Of course, the Bears did receive some bad news with Bilal Nichols entering COVID protocol. He put together a solid performance against the Vikings by racking up five tackles. The 25-year old is a mainstay on the defensive line, so losing him hurts. However, there is still a chance for him to play on Sunday as long as he tests negative twice.
