BREAKING: Bears' OL Teven Jenkins Will Have Back Surgery
Teven Jenkins hasn't been on the field for practice yet ahead of the 2021 season. The highly anticipated second-round draft pick has been dealing with a back injury for the entirety of training camp. He also missed the last few games if his collegiate career with a similar injury. Head coach Matt Nagy met with the media today and announced that Teven Jenkins will have back surgery today.
Nagy claims the goal is to get Jenkins back this season. This goal is unlikely for an offensive lineman considering he's not only learning a new position, but he's jumping to the professional level for the first time.
