According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields has signed his rookie contract.
Fields' four-year contract is fully guaranteed, worth roughly $18.9 million. As noted above, the contract includes a signing bonus worth just under $11.1 million.
Justin Fields was selected 11th overall in this past NFL Draft after the Bears traded with the New York Giants to move up and select the Ohio State product.
Per reports, Justin Fields has also looked incredible during OTA's. Numerous reports indicate he is the better of the two quarterbacks currently competing for the starting job. He's looked so good that he has Darnell Mooney smiling mid-route.
Fields is still competing with Andy Dalton for the Bears' starting quarterback job, and with many conflicting reports throughout the interwebs, Bears fans have no idea who will be starting Week One in Los Angeles. That said, majority of fans hope it is the talented rookie leading the Bears against the Rams.
