Bears Acquire Extra Picks to Start Day 3 of NFL Draft
The Chicago Bears were making moves to kick off Day Three of the NFL Draft. On the final day of the draft, Ryan Poles made the decision to flip a 2023 sixth round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers. In return, he receives a pair of 7th round picks in the 2022 Draft.
Originally, the sixth-round pick belonged to the Chargers. In the Khalil Mack trade, the Bears received the pick as compensation along with the 48th pick in the second round. Chicago opted to flip the pick back to the Chargers for the 254th and 255th pick.
Nevertheless, here is what the final parameters of the trade look like:
Chicago receives:

- 2022 7th round pick (255)
