The Chicago Bears have suffered from a rash of nagging injuries to start training camp. The news only got worse on Tuesday. The team held their annual Family Fest practice at Soldier Field but came away down a few more players.

Reports indicate that offensive guard James Daniels and linebacker Josh Woods left practice with thigh injuries, but there have been no updates on the severity of the ailments. Nevertheless, it is yet another loss on the offensive line -- one the Bears could not afford at this time.

It's also likely that the Bears will be placing Eddie Goldman on the COVID-19 reserve list. Meanwhile, there have been no updates provided on the absences of Elijah Wilkinson, Christian Jones, and Patrick Scales.

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, four Bears players were unaccounted for during practice. His assumption is that it may be COVID-19-related. With Goldman being placed on the COVID-19 reserve list, it leads to the belief that there may be some substance to that report.

In any case, there has been no confirmation at this time. It will be an interesting development to keep an eye on going forward, especially with the Bears' first preseason game just 11 days away.
