Ryan Poles is a busy man. While adding to the Chicago Bears roster as NFL free agency opens, he is also looking to improve his front office. Poles has called upon Trey Koziol to be a co-director of player personnel.

Trey Koziol already has a connection with Ryan Poles. The two were teammates at Boston College. In the NFL, Koziol has risen through the ranks in the Chiefs organization and previously served as the director of college scouting. He doesn't have any time to waste in getting up to speed with Poles with the NFL Draft just weeks away. Koziol and Poles were recently seen chatting at the Senior Bowl.

This will be Ryan Poles' first draft with the Chicago Bears. Given the offseason moves of trading Khalil Mack and releasing multiple veteran players, Poles seems to be leaning toward a rebuild. He will need all the eyes he can get to help evaluate talent to build around Justin Fields and create a menacing defense for Eberflus.
