The Chicago Bears provided some encouraging updates on their final Week 17 injury report. Wide receiver help could be on the way for Justin Fields as Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) looks set to return after practicing in full on Friday. Additionally, Chase Claypool (knee) and Dante Pettis (ankle) are questionable after being limited participants.

Elsewhere in the receiving game, Trevon Wisco (calf) joins Claypool and Pettis with a questionable designation.

In the trenches, Andrew Brown (ankle), Teven Jenkins (neck), Justin Jones (eye), and Cody Whitehair (knee) all should return after fully practicing on Friday. Jenkins and Whitehair will be welcome returns along the offensive line after the Bears were without them in Week 16 against the Buffalo Bills.

Finally, two players have been ruled out. Ja'Tyre Carter (back) and Sterling Weatherford (illness) will not suit up when the Bears visit the Lions at Ford Field.

Sunday's matchup represents the Chicago Bears' second-to-last opportunity to record a divisional win this season. Friday's injury report certainly increases their chances of doing so as Justin Fields will have more protection and potentially more targets surrounding him.
