The Chicago Bears received some unfortunate injury news on Tuesday. Running back Khalil Herbert will head to injured reserve, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Herbert suffered a hip injury Sunday against the Detroit Lions. The shifty back rushed for 57 yards on 10 carries before exiting the game early.

Tuesday's news is a tough break for Khalil Herbert, who has enjoyed a nice season to date. In 10 games, he has racked up 643 yards and four touchdowns on 108 carries. Now, the Bears will be without Herbert for a minimum of four games.
