On Monday following a comeback win, the Chicago Bears appear to be gaining reinforcements heading into Week 17. According to Adam Jahns, five players are being activated off the COVID-19 list this week.

As indicated, Allen Robinson, Jaylon Johnson, Tashaun Gipson, Jesse James, and Ryan Nall are all returning from the COVID-19 list. Although Robinson has struggled, and with James and Nall as depth pieces, Gipson and Johnson's returns are huge for the Bears' secondary. This week, the Bears will see a decent Giants' receiving corps, but they are also battling injuries with their playmakers.

In Robinson's absence, players such as Jakeem Grant and Damiere Byrd have stepped up. Although Grant is hurt, Byrd secured the game-winning two-point conversion in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.

In addition to the activations, the Bears are placing DB Teez Tabor on the IR. With the move, Tabor's season is done.

Tabor's absence hurts the team's depth, but Tashaun Gipson's return certainly eases the pain a bit. In addition, there is hope that Thomas Graham Jr., who has played admirably, can remain on the active roster for the remainder of the season.

The Bears have two games remaining on the schedule. This Sunday, they welcome the Giants to Soldier Field for the final home game of the season. Luckily for the Bears, they will be far deeper than they were against Seattle this past Sunday.
