Chicago Bears outside linebacker Robert Quinn has earned defensive player of the month for November.
In the Bears' three games during the month of November, Quinn had 14 tackles (five for a loss) 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. His best game came against the Ravens when he recorded 3.5 sacks. Quinn also leads the NFC with 11 sacks in the year.
Last year, Quinn was dealing with an injury that slowed him down. Fans felt he was overpaid. This year, Quinn is living up to the original hype that came with his acquisition. This is the first time in his career that he has earned defensive player of the month honors.
Quinn will have to continue his elevated role for the Bears. They face a tough stretch against Arizona, Green Bay, and Minnesota in their next three games.
