On Monday morning, Sportico released the annual values of each NFL franchise. According to the report, the Chicago Bears come in at a value of $5 billion. That figure represents an increase of 25% in the past year.

As a result, the Chicago Bears moved up two spots overall amongst the rest of the league. Now, they're the sixth most valuable franchise in the NFL. The Bears should only increase their value going forward. Likewise, potentially having a new stadium in Arlington Heights will help bump that number up even higher.

What goes into determining the value of each franchise? It's the sum of the fair market value, the value of the team-related business, and real estate holdings, per Sportico.
