David Montgomery Clears Concussion Protocol
As Thanksgiving quickly approaches this week, Bears' starting running back told reporters that he has cleared concussion protocol and will play on Sunday night versus the rival Green Bay Packers.
The Bears have lacked a run game since Tarik Cohen went down with a season-ending injury. The Bears haven't rushed for over 100 yards since Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Montgomery's return is a positive sign after the Bears looked abysmal against the Minnesota Vikings before their bye week.

The Iowa State product has rushed for 472 yards and caught 30 receptions for 212 yards over nine games for the Bears this season. Despite a beat-up offensive line, Montgomery is still averaging 3.6 yards per carry. Montgomery only has one rushing and one receiving touchdown on the season.
