The Mitchell Trubisky era has officially come to an end in Chicago. The former number two overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft is signing with the Buffalo Bills, per Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler.

Trubisky began last season strong for the Bears, only to be benched in favor of Nick Foles during their Week 3 game against Atlanta. Trubisky eventually became the starter again after the Bears' offense was non-existent with Foles running the show.

The North Carolina product started nine games in 2020. However, over ten games, Trubisky threw for 2,055 yards, 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Trubisky had his best season completing passes too, setting a career high for completion percentage at 67.0%. Mitch also added 195 yards rushing.
