This was the biggest signing for the Chicago Bears for undrafted players. Several teams wanted to sign Emanuel Hall, but the Bears were just a destination he really wanted to be. One of the main reasons he wanted to come here was due to coach Mike Furrey and the way the organization built the family culture.

In Hall's first college season, he didn't make much of an impact, totaling 64 yards on eight catches. Those numbers increased during his sophomore season to 307 yards on 19 catches. But the key here is that his average yards per catch nearly doubled. His talent became evident at that point, and he really began to showcase it during his third year at Mizzou.

Hall's junior season was his best, as he posted 817 yards on 33 catches, good for 24.8 yards per reception. He also found endzone eight times during that campaign. He truly showed the speed to make it past any defender. His final season was also another good one, as he finished with 828 yards on 37 catches, six of which were touchdowns.

The biggest news as of late for Hall is that he underwent a sports hernia surgery around the same time Trey Burton did. The Bears are looking to have him ready for training camp in July. Hall missed a bit of time in college due to injuries, which caused him to fall in the draft. Also, he tried to play through some of those as well.

The speed is there for Hall to beat any defensive player deep, but he will need to work on his route-running abilities. No doubt, it will be a battle for him to make the roster as the Bears brought in tons of talent that will be competing for spots on the team. All players will need to be open to learning and even growing a little quicker than they thought. The receiver group should feature one of the most interesting competitions in training camp this year.

Can Hall make this roster? If not, there is the fear that he could go to the practice squad and someone else would sign him.
