Report: Akiem Hicks Wants to Finish Career With Chicago Bears
On Thursday, it was reported that a fan favorite of the Chicago Bears wants to stay with the team for the long haul. Despite rumblings this offseason that defensive end Akiem Hicks was seeking a trade out of Chicago, it appears that he has changed his tune.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Hicks's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has been spotted at Halas Hall. Rosenhaus also delivered a statement.
A true locker room leader and impact player, Hicks has been an incredible story since coming to Chicago. After floating around the league, he was one of Ryan Pace's first free-agent signings that panned out well. Hicks was deemed a low-risk, high-reward signing, with the Bears hitting big.
