Blackhawks' Defenseman Adam Boqvist Returns from COVID List
After dealing with COVID-19 issues over the past few weeks, the Blackhawks are slowly getting reinforcements back on the roster. Alex DeBrincat returned from a four-game absence on Tuesday, and now Adam Boqvist will be rejoining the team.
Boqvist last appeared in a game on Sunday, January 24th before he and DeBrincat landed on the NHL's COVID Protocol List the following day. The 20-year-old blueliner missed the team's last seven games.
Upon Boqvist's return to the active roster, it will be interesting to see how Blackhawks' head coach Jeremy Colliton handles the defensive personnel. Fellow young defensemen Nicolas Beaudin and Lucas Carlsson saw the ice in Boqvist's absence and the team recorded points six of those seven games.
