The Chicago Blackhawks have four prospects participating in the 2022 World Juniors. Forward Landon Slaggert, defenseman Wyatt Kaiser, and goalie Drew Commesso will all represent Team USA. Defenseman Michael Krutil will skate for the Czech Republic, which has asked to be called Czechia.

Slaggert, a sophomore at Notre Dame, will serve as an alternate captain for the Americans. He will wear No. 19.

Kaiser, a sophomore at Minnesota-Duluth, will participate in his first World Juniors tournament. He will wear No. 5.

Commesso, a sophomore at Boston University, will be Team USA's No. 1 goalie. He will wear No. 29.

Krutil, who plays for the AHL Rockford IceHogs, returns for his second World Juniors with Czechia. He will wear No. 28. However, he cannot suit up for his country’s first two games due to a suspension carrying over from last year.
