The Rockford IceHogs claimed the fourth seed in the AHL's Central Division to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2018. Rockford will host the No. 5-seeded Texas Stars in a best-of-three first-round series. Games 1 and 2 are at 7 PM Wednesday and Friday, respectively, at the BMO Harris Bank Center. If necessary, Game 3 is 6 PM Saturday.

The Rockford-Texas series winner will advance to face the No. 1-seeded Chicago Wolves (Carolina Hurricanes) in a best-of-five series.
