The Chicago Blackhawks announced their broadcast team for the 2022-23 season, and it includes a familiar face. Following previously reported interest from the Hawks, Patrick Sharp will join the TV booth as a color analyst. Troy Murray will also serve as a color analyst to help fill the role Eddie Olczyk vacated.

The duo of former Blackhawks will join Chris Vosters, whom the team tabbed for TV play-by-play duties in April. The club has not announced specifics regarding the setup or schedule for color analysts.

John Wiedeman will continue in his role as the Blackhawks' play-by-play announcer on WGN Radio. According to The Athletic, he will call "nearly all of the radio games" in 2022-23.

Also on the radio, Miguel Esparza and Jorge Moreno will call all Blackhawks' home games in Spanish on Univision TUDN Chicago.

On the content side, Colby Cohen and Caley Chelios will return to cover the Blackhawks. Cohen will contribute between the benches and through other content channels this season. Chelios will appear on radio and TV in addition to other content channels in 2022-23.

"In addition, fans should expect regular appearances from Blackhawks alums throughout the season on both radio and television," the team said in a release. The Hawks will announce a complete broadcast schedule at a later date.
