Blackhawks Complete GM Interviews; Here Are The 6 Confirmed Candidates
The Chicago Blackhawks have completed the interview portion of their general manager search. CEO Danny Wirtz released a statement to inform the public on Thursday afternoon.
"The Chicago Blackhawks advisory committee has concluded its evaluation with General Manager candidates and provided input to leadership. The leadership team is moving to the next step of the process. Additional updates on the search will be provided as the process continues," Wirtz conveyed via the team.
The advisory committee Wirtz mentioned includes former players Marian Hossa, Eddie Olczyk, and Patrick Sharp. Mike Forde of Sportsology was also part of that group.

Blackhawks GM Candidates
The Blackhawks completed interviews with six confirmed candidates:
- Kyle Davidson, current Chicago Blackhawks Interim GM
- Eric Tulsky, current Carolina Hurricanes Assistant GM
- Scott Mellanby, former Montreal Canadiens Assistant GM
- Peter Chiarelli, current St. Louis Blues Vice President of Hockey Operations
- Jeff Greenberg, current Chicago Cubs Assistant GM
- Mathieu Darche, current Tampa Bay Lightning Director of Hockey Operations
Additionally, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported that Chicago had interest in Toronto Raptors’ Vice President of Basketball Operations Teresa Resch. However, the Blackhawks never made an official announcement about interviewing Resch, something they did for the other candidates listed above.
Next, the team's leadership group will work toward hiring a permanent general manager and provide updates along the way.
