Team USA's run at the 2022 World Juniors was short-lived. Here's how all three Blackhawks' prospects performed in the tournament.

A trio of Chicago Blackhawks' prospects' time at the 2022 World Juniors came to an end Wednesday. Landon Slaggert, Wyatt Kaiser, Dominic James, and Team USA suffered a shocking 4-2 quarterfinal loss to Czechia.

Slaggert was the only Blackhawks' representative to record a point in the Americans' defeat. He tallied an assist on a third-period power-play goal that pulled Team USA within one at the time.

Landon Slaggert (2020 third-round pick) finished the tournament with six points (two goals, four assists) powered by a pair of two-point games.

Defenseman Wyatt Kaiser (2020 third-round pick) had three points (two goals, one assist) in the tournament. He earned Team USA's Player of the Game honors against Austria in preliminary play.

Forward Dominic James (2022 sixth-round pick) recorded one assist in five games for the Americans.

The Chicago Blackhawks still have two prospects in action at the 2022 World Juniors.

Defenseman Ethan Del Mastro (2021 fourth-round pick) has not recorded a point in four games for Team Canada. Forward Victor Stjernborg (2021 fourth-round pick) also has not cracked the score sheet in five games for Sweden.

Barring healthy scratches, both players will be in action Friday during the semifinal round.
