The Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly added another free-agent flier. According to PuckPedia, the Blackhawks signed forward Buddy Robinson to a one-year, two-way contract.
Since turning pro in 2012, Robinson has spent most of his career in the AHL. The 30-year-old has also appeared in 53 NHL games across parts of five seasons.
In 32 games for the Anaheim Ducks last season, Robinson recorded six points (one goal, five assists). He also had nine points (four goals, five assists) in 28 games for the AHL San Diego Gulls in 2021-22.
Buddy Robinson's contract with the Chicago Blackhawks is worth $750K at the NHL level and $475K in the minors. The winger's pact is the fourth two-way contract the Blackhawks have handed out since free agency began.
